National Governing Council

National Governing Council is the legal representative of the Society and is seated at the Headquarters of INSARM, Thiruvananthapuram. As the apex body, the Governing Council Plans and carry out all such activities to promote aims and objectives of the Society. ItPromote and approves the constitution of the Chapters.The council provides the guidelines and supports for the Chapters incarrying out its programs and takes decision on Bi-annual Seminars. The Council act as trustees for all the movable and immovable properties of the Society. and fulfils all legal obligations of the society with respect to its registration, accounts and Tax

Constitution

• 13 elected members by General bodyfor a two years’ term - President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and 9 members.
• All chapter presidentsas Vice presidents for the council
• Immediate past President of the Society as Additional member
• All other past Presidents and general secretaries as permanent invitees.
